If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns. This policy complies with India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Customers retain statutory rights under applicable laws.

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Return & Refund Policy – Tarangini Handloom

At Tarangini Handloom, we take immense pride in our quality control. Each product is handcrafted and rigorously checked before dispatch. Due to the nature of our products, we maintain a strict Damaged Products Only return policy.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We only accept returns or replacements if the product you received is damaged in transit. We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or personal dislike.
  • Slight color variations due to screen resolution differences.
  • Minor irregularities in the weave (e.g., slubs, uneven threads), which are the hallmark of genuine handloom products and are not defects.

2. Reporting Timeline

You must report the damage within 7 days of the order being delivered. Requests received after this 7-day window will be automatically rejected, regardless of the issue.

3. Mandatory Proof: Unboxing Video

To ensure fairness, we require concrete evidence that the damage occurred during transit and not after delivery. A clear, unedited unboxing video is mandatory for any return claim.

Your unboxing video must:

  • Be Continuous: Recorded in one single take with no cuts or edits.
  • Show the Label: Clearly show the sealed shipping package with the shipping label and your address visible before opening.
  • Show the Damage: Capture the entire unboxing process and clearly zoom in on the specific damage immediately upon opening.
  • Note: Photographs alone are not sufficient without the accompanying unboxing video. Claims without a valid unboxing video will be declined.

4. How to Request a Return

If your order meets the above criteria, please follow these steps immediately:

  1. Prepare your evidence: Ensure you have the unboxing video and clear photos of the damage.

  3. Wait for Approval: Our team will review the evidence. If the transit damage is verified, we will arrange for a return pickup or guide you on the next steps.

5. Resolution

Once the damaged item is received back at our facility and verified against your evidence, we will initiate a refund or dispatch a replacement (subject to availability) within 3-5 business days.


6. Your Order Cancellation Rights

Cancellation Eligibility

Once the order is dispatched (confirmed via shipping tracking details), cancellations are not permitted.

Orders can only be cancelled before the item is shipped.

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
